    Shareaholic.com - Browser Add-on for Sharing Quickly

    shareaholic

If you enjoy sharing all of the interesting things you come across while browsing the web with your friends and followers, keeping everyone in the know, Shareaholic is a browser add-on you will definitely find useful. Once you’ve added it to your Firefox, Flock, or Songbird browser, you’ll be able to share links without ever having to leave the page you are viewing. There are tons of sites you can share with, including Facebook, Twitter, StumbleUpon, FriendFeed, Digg, Del.icio.us, Google Reader, Pownce, Y Combinator, Reddit, HealthRanker, and more. You get to choose the services you want to be seen on your drop-down menu so that you only have to deal with the sites you use. Emailing links is also possible if you want to share with someone who isn’t a webaholic. Just checking out the drop-down menu allows you to view the Digg and Del.icio.us counts for how many times your site has been linked to, and you can see the latest links that have been shared through the add-on as well. If you want a super easy and quick way to share your tracks throughout the web, Shareaholic is worth downloading.

    In their own words

"Shareaholic makes it easy for you to submit the web page you're on to your favorite sharing or bookmarking service, including: digg, del.icio.us, facebook, friendfeed, google bookmarks, google reader notes, kaboodle, magnolia, mixx, myspace, pownce, reddit, stumbleupon, tumblr, twitter, and ycombinator. You can also e-mail the web page directly to a friend."

Why it might be a killer

It’s very straightforward and easy to use, without taking up tons of room on your already crowded browser. They cover basically every site you’d want to share links to, and the fact that you don’t have to switch to those services to share what you want, makes it easy to share to multiple sites quickly.

    Some questions

Could they add other readers besides Google to their sharing list? Will they be adding the stats you can see for Digg and Del.icio.us to other services listed?
