Serph.com - Track Buzz in Real Time

    serph

Serph is a site that lets you see what everyone is saying in the blogging world about any key word you´re looking for. You type in your key word and a list is generated of all of the blogs that have written that word in their entries. It´s more complete than Technorati or Google because not only does it scan their sites, but also Newsvine, Digg, topix.net, Sphere, de.licio.us, Feedster, YouTube, Flickr, Magnolia, Yahoo! Answers, and more. The most recent entries are sorted so that they´re at the top, so that you can see what the latest word is. It also works to try and remove all of the splogs, or worthless entries you end up finding littering other search engines, and of course you can subscribe to the RSS feed of whatever key words you want to keep updated on.

    In their own words

    “Serph helps you:

Why it might be a killer

People will want to use a feed finder that takes out the useless posts and compiles a list based on all of the top sites trying to do this already. It is well designed and easy to use, and users have been satisfied. They´ve fixed many of the bugs they had while in beta, and are now ready to take on the general public. They were also created by ACS, which has come up with successful sites in the past.

    Some questions

Will people switch over from the buzz tracking sites they already use and know are reliable? How will they compete with these established companies for their users?
