SerpArchive.org - Archive of Search Engine Queries

    serparchive

Serp is an acronym for search engine results page, aka the web page that your search engine returns with the results of its search. Previously, the results which search engines like Google displayed were recalculated and the change in toolbar values and display could be observed by all every couple weeks. Now these changes take place daily which makes it difficult for SEO engineers to figure what results changed, when, and according to what inquiries. SerpArchive is a project developed to track and store the results of search engine queries. Users are thus able to keep an eye on changes, following the history of changes of Google cache in time. The SerpArchive analyses Google, MSN, AdSense, PageRank and Cache. Registration is free but required.

    In their own words

"SerpArchive is a service which daily stores the results of search engine queries indicated by user.
Using this service users are able:
    - to track the dynamic changes of the results of search engine queries
    - to follow the rating changes of your resources and the resources of your business rivals in real time
    - to analyse the changes in rating algorithm of search engines
    - to track advertising programmes of Google Adsence
    - to track down sites which appear/disappear from SERPs"

Why it might be a killer

SerpArchive may not hold much interest for your average internet user, but for those interested in SEO and page rank, the site could be invaluable. Users can use Serp for analyzing changes in search algorithms, influences, etc.

    Some questions

Will the SerpArchive support multiple engine URLs (for different countries)? Will the service remain free? Is an API in the works?
