FireShot is a free Firefox extension that allows you to create and edit screenshots of any webpage. FireShot is an ideal tool for web-designers, testers and content reviewers as it allows shots to be edited and also includes a robust set of annotation tools which include text and graphics. Unlike some of the other similar tools, FireShot also allows you to take a shot of the entire page instead of just the viewable area. You can save screenshots to disk in the form of PNG, GIF, JPEG, or BMP, you can copy them to a clipboard or you can email them and send them to an external editor for further processing. Also provided, is an image hosting web-sever should that be desired.

In their own words
“Unlike other extensions, this plugin provides a set of editing and annotation tools, which let users quickly modify captures and insert text and graphical annotations. Such functionality will be especially useful for web designers, testers and content reviewers.”
Why it might be a killer
This is a great tool which according to the site is already being used by over 100,000 users per day including yours truly. It will increase in popularity because it is both robust and free.
Some questions
Do they have any plans to make this a money-making service? There is a pro-version but perhaps a bit of advertising in the free version could help them to make a few bucks.
