Screencast-o-matic.com - Browser Based Screencasts

With Screencast-o-matic users can make recordings of their computer screens (or screencasts) from within their web browser, without having to download or install any software. It does require Java, as Screen-o-matic creates the recordings via a Java applet.

All results can be hosted on site for free, or they can be exported to Quicktime. Additionally, being Java based, Screen-o-matic works across platforms, with slight problems with the Linux/Firefox 2.0 combination. To use it, all you"ve got to do is move the display frame over the window to be captured; mouse movements are tracked with a red dot; to record just hit the record button. It"s incredibly easy to use, however at the moment, there aren"t many extra features, and the results aren"t the most astonishing.
