Rentomatic.com - Making Happy Tenants and Landlords

    rentomatic

Rentomatic aims to make happy tenants and happy landlords by automating payment and interactions. Given the tensions that can ensue with rentals and therefore money, this site simplifies matters in paragon 2.0 fashion. Landlords in possession of anywhere from 1-50 units are able to handle financials, lease expirations, expense tracking, and vacancy advertising. Plans range from the free up to five active leases package to the Advanced bundle which is a mere $30 a month and comes with e-tax tools, maintenance tracking and an unlimited number of active leases. Between that, they offer the Rent Management plan at $5 per lease per month. With this, all invoices are automated, tenants are given the option to pay by check, echeck, and credit card, rents are recorded in your ledger, and late payment reminders are generated automatically. Tenants on the other hand, are given the option to pay online via their bank account or credit card, and they can even set up automatic billing. There are built-in maintenance forms which can be sent directly to your landlord too, should your pad need some extra care. The system operates via a network messaging service, so landlords can send out group notifications and messages without having to leave their couch.

    In their own words

“Rental properties only work when two parties, Landlords and Tenants, come together. Rentomatic exists to help both Landlords and Tenants manage their information, processes, and interactions.
By providing Landlords with online property management services, and by providing Tenants the ability to pay their rent online, track and share their rental history, and communicate with their landlord with their own tenant site, Rentomatic creates happier landlords and happier tenants.”

Why it might be a killer

Rentomatic is a boon to renters who are used to paying everything online. It’s also extremely handy for landlords who no longer need to make unnecessary trips to their rentals to demand rent or to post late payment notifications. The interface is intuitive and uncomplicated. Rentomatic really simplifies matters.

    Some questions

What happens if payments don’t go through? How long is the processing time?
