Reble.fm - Listen to Your Friends' Music Collections

Reble.fm’s tagline is ‘Play all your friends’ music. Free’. So, basically this modest app lets you take a little virtual jot down to your friend Gene’s house to listen to his oh so clever, hip and comprehensive music collection. One Achtung! Needs to be thrown into the mix though. You’ll only be able to listen to the songs. Don’t even think about loading them into your iTunes and then on to your iPod. Reble isn’t so rebellious as to help you take part in illegal file sharing. But you will be spared a trip down town to visit a friend who maybe you don’t like so much, but who’s got mad taste and hookups nonetheless. The download is available for Windows only at the moment. More features are in the works.

Reble provides a legal and free way to share your friends’ music. It’s a nice alternative to blatant illegal downloading.

Do both parties need the software for it to work? Can you make and share playlists? Is it simple to implement? Will they add more networking features, so you’re not limited to listen to music of the those you already know?
