ReadBag.com - Save Links for Reading Later

You may have heard of ReadItLater, an extension for Mozilla which lets you save stories, articles, etc, to read later. Well, now there’s ReadBag a similar app which runs on the Google App Engine.

ReadBag lets you save links to read on later on your computer or mobile device. There’s a bookmarklet which can drag into your toolbar for adding links. You can opt for daily email updates of links yet to be read. After you’ve read a link, it will be archived. You can access your links by signing in. The API is read only meaning you access your data as you wish.

    Readbag.com In their own words

“readbag is a nifty tool to store links for reading them later in your browser,
iphone, mobile, e-mail, feedreader or your own application through an API.”

Why Readbag.com might be a killer

Readbag has a nice clean, elegant interface. It is really a simple tool, but it’s perfect for organizing your web material. Often, there are articles, blog posts, etc that you come upon and are interested in reading, but you don’t have the time. Saving it as a bookmark only means more clutter, and it’s likely to get lost. With Readbag you can easily save items to read on your mobile or another computer.

    Some questions about Readbag.com

Will there be an offline mode? Is there any way you can share articles with others? Is there a hotkey for faster adding of links? Is there anyway to organize the links?
