Racooda is a portal that allows you to post any kind of job you need done and get into contact with the person that can do it for you. Whatever the job, you can post it for free and then view responses and user’s profiles to find out a bit more about the person before you contract them. The site also has an embedded Google map which can be searched to find jobs in your area. Providers of any services can browse through the current available jobs and then contact the poster with questions. Basically, this is a well-designed site specifically dealing with finding and offering odd jobs. They are currently running a promotion to encourage people to sign up and will be giving away a free iPod to one of their users when they reach 1000 signups.
