You probably have heard of PubMed, the an online resource for medical articles and resources, operated by the government. Pubget aims to mimic Pubmed with the exception that it gives you PDFs right away. The site was created to save scientists and doctors’ time. Rather than having to search for literature and then download it for reading, Pubget fetches content and delivers it as a PDF which means doctors have more time to save lives and cure diseases. To use it, you simply perform a search as you normally would, and PubGet will find you the PDF file. Currently Pubget is supported by five institutions—Harvard, Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital, MIT and the University of Queensland. This means it can access those library collections. PubGet is still fairly new, so expect many more features to come.
