    PrivNote.com - Send Private Notes

    privnote

Do you have to let someone know about something that’s troubling you? Is email not private enough? If you’ve come across that problem, then you should see what Privnote.com has to offer. Through the site, you’ll be able to write out whatever it is you want to say to someone, post it, and send them the link. Once they’ve read the note you typed out for them, it will self-destruct. While this might sound way too much like Mission: Impossible, it could work for many things. You can gossip with your friends about someone else, send love letters, and other things that you don’t want people to read. A great feature hosted by the site is the fact that you can view it in Spanish. This’ll allow them to target a wider, Spanish-speaking market. You can get notifications when the not you sent is read. This allows you to know when your private message was received by your secret correspondent.

    In their own words

“Post your note and get a link. Send the link to the person you want to read it. As soon as the recipient reads the note, it self-destructs.”

Why it might be a killer

The site gives us all a way to avoid the often-unsecure email clients. Since the messages are all destroyed, no one can keep track of what you’ve been sending your friends.

    Some questions

Are the messages really destroyed? Has email been deprived of all privacy?
