    Pocketmod.com - The Pocket-sized Personal Organizer

    pocketmod

Everything is being scaled down to fit in your pockets these days- cell phones and cameras are just two examples- so a personal organizer comes as no surprise. However, the PocketMod is not your standard organizer- it is free, recyclable, and totally customizable. In fact, the PocketMod is simply an application that allows you to print a few pages of text (or images or information) on a sheet of blank paper, and fold it up into a mini-book, to carry in your pocket. If that sounds too basic, the PocketMod has dozens of widgets that can be incorporated into the final product- from grids to calendars to games (like sodoku).

    In their own words

“The PocketMod is a small book with guides on each page. These guides or templates, combined with a unique folding style, enable a normal piece of paper to become the ultimate note card.”

Why it might be a killer

PocketMod is great because it can be used in an infinite number of situations, by so many types of individuals (students for tests, business leaders as a guide for presentations, travelers as an entertaining game). I also see incredible potential in the “information” widget- users can print articles from their RSS feed to PocketMod- and voila, you have a portable, compact way to read the days news.

    Some questions

How much information can actually fit on a page? It is presented to be as much as is necessary, but I wonder if the pages start becoming crowded and the text too small after just a couple of paragraphs.
