Pixily is an innovative new startup that deals a rather un-Web 2.0 subject, paper, piles of it-- actually your piles of papers. It's a service that's been done before but not in a way that's as efficient and cost-effective. Essentially, Pixily takes the paper trail-- documents, graphs, etc-- you send to it (via a Pixily-provided prepaid envelope), scans it, and finally uploads it to Amazon S3. Documents are readily viewable and searchable online within three to five days. You can then share documents with coworkers and colleagues, organize them, or download them as PDF's all while saving trees and money. All your documents are emailed back to you as well. The service cost varies from free to $60 per month.

In their own words
"Pixily combines your paper and digital documents online in a secure location, making them available to you from anywhere. With Pixily, you can search your documents for any keywords, securely share your documents, and easily organize your documents using Pixily's labeling tools."
Why it might be a killer
Pixily's paper to digital service is a good idea. It cuts back on paper waste, space, and saves money. It's also has a quick turnaround.
Some questions
Will documents be safe? And kept private? Can they handle an influx of business with the same turnaround time as they currently do?
