Picowiki, available both as a standard web-based application and also as a mobile solution for iphones and other PDA’s, is a tool that allows you to make notes and share. Sign up by entering your email address and use Picowiki the next time you need to make notes on the go. Commands are simple to use, and consist of icons for editing a page, adding a new page, showing all pages or for exporting your work to your desktop or phone. Simply click on any of the abovementioned icons and start taking notes which can also be shared with others if you provide them with your username. This is a well-designed free tool that will help considerably when it comes to storing notes in an easy to use and searchable database.

In their own words
“PicoWiki, the hosted wiki optimized for the iPhone and for smart phones like the Blackberry, has been updated with an improved interface, better navigation, integrated authentication, and improved searching.”
Why it might be a killer
Picowiki probably won’t make anyone a millionaire but it is a great tool that people will enjoy using for note taking on the fly.
Some questions
While you can export pages, have they considered allowing users to import pages as well? That might be a handy feature that would make Picowiki even more useful.
