In their own words
"Internet, the WWW, has become Wild Wild Web; a place without cops, making your family vulnerable of various dangers and exploits. We strive to resolve two major issues faced by parents and everyday Internet user. These problems looks complex, but our approach of the resolution is to make Internet Family Safety as simple as possible.
Our Family Safety software application detects websites seeking personal information. It triggers a passwored approval when any information is send to such websites. It is based on our patent pending method of Local-authentication for web-forms."
Why it might be a killer
This software gives parents peace of mind. By limiting the content a child has access to, ParentApproval assures parents that their children aren't unknowingly venturing into dangerous territory, or giving away sensitive personal info. It appears to be pretty straightforward and simple to implement.
Some questions
The problem with ParentApproval is that it requires parents to still be vigilant. They'll have to enter the password each time their kid wants to get into a site. Will parents find this to be too much of a hassle? How will this software compare to other child oriented safety apps?
