    PageTiki.com - Monitor Web Pages

    pagetiki

Don’t you hate sites that don’t have RSS feeds? Well, there’s something you can do about it. Over at Pagetiki.com, you’ll be able to get updates from all the sites you follow that don’t have feeds. This will allow you to stop having to visit the sites everyday, since you’ll be able to keep up with them through an RSS feed. All you have to do is tell the site what sites you want to follow, and you’ll be able to get a feed link to place into your reader. After this, it’s smooth sailing, as you won’t have to check back to the sites to get updates anymore. You can think of this site as a sort of RSS creator, allowing you to customize your own feed from sites that don’t have feeds of their own. While the service is free, you’ll only be able to get a limited number of updates. The number is about 30000, which is about a year’s worth of service. I guess that after you’re done, you’ll be able to create another account and start again with the service.

    In their own words

“Use PageTiki to monitor web pages for changes. Receive updates by e-mail or via RSS feed.”

Why it might be a killer

Interestingly enough, some sites still don’t have feeds. With more and more people getting updates through RSS readers, this site solves a problem that is troubling most of us.

    Some questions

What’s up with the Tiki points thing? Why not just do it forever, until the user cancels his or her account?
