You’ll be asked for example for your highest level of education, your current work status, how many people you have a direct relationship with and how varied they are from each other, where you know them from, etc. From there MyNetworkValue calculates your potential economical worth in 10 years, should you use your contacts to their full advantage. There are comparative graphs which you can use to compare your network worth with others in the same field. As the whole calculation is a part of Xing, a business accelerator/contact management system, all users are offered free membership to get their network going. The site also has free personalized buttons and logos which you can incorporate into your blog or website after you’ve taken the test.

This seems to be a good tool for assessing your potential via your contacts, or at the very least it gives you a general assessment of what you could possibly work on and improve.
