MY BUZZ monitor (MBM) is a free widget which you can install on your website, personal page, or blog in order to track who's talking about your site. When installed, MBM uses the url of your site to tack references from news providers and blogs. You can also use keywords (for example, your company name) to see who's referencing content that could be related to yours. The widget is customizable for size and color, and you can imbed it on your Blogger or TypePad page directly. For other pages, simply copy and paste the JavaScript code below your blog sidebar or website page. MBM also offers a service upgrade that, for a fee, provides search position monitoring, more options and views and alert notifications. There's no registration necessary for the free service, simply install it directly.

MBM is a no-frills widget that's easy to customize and install. It let's you know not only what blogging and news sites are referencing your site directly, but also gives you the option of specifying keywords that could also be relevant to your content. The site offers a demo of the widget which you can play around with to see the effects of changing the customization settings (the MBM site adjusts accordingly).
There are other widgets out there that offer more than MBM (more tracking data options, like graphs) for free, and there's nothing particularly special or unique about MBM.
