    MovableLife.net - Browser Based SecondLife sans 3D

    movablelife

MovableLife slims down SecondLife taking away the 3D component, thus giving users the option to experience the virtual world without all the graphic splendor. It's completely browser based so users needn't download any special interfaces either. What you'll get is a Google-powered map view of your location. You can do your usual routine, log in with your SecondLife password, teleport, chat with your friends, create groups, check out other regions, and track your goods. Using MovableLife you'll continue to be able to spend your Linden dollars as well. No account info is retained, making the service ideal for ardent SecondLife members who frequent the metaverse often.

    In their own words

"MovableLife allows Second Life users to log in to Second Life using only a web browser. MovableLife allows you to chat, IM, search, teleport, manage friends, groups, and much more. If you just want a quick and easy SecondLife experience without all the 3D graphics, then MovableLife is exactly what you are looking for."

Why it might be a killer

Leave it to the Japanese to shrink things down, fine tuning them to a bite sized level. MovableLife still leaves quite an impression, and users will find that it's not lacking. Appears to run without any hitches, gives you a professional looking presentation.

    Some questions

Does MovableLife offer mobile phone integration? Is this something SL users really want and will use?
