There are two types of people in this world: those who get stuff done and those who wait for someone else to do it for them. For those of us who are in the first category, nothing is worse than having to deal with the bums who just keep "forgetting" to do whatever is needed of them. They truth is they don't really "forget" but they do need to be reminded again. Monkey On Your Back is a new communication tool that helps us type-A's get others moving and taking care of business. The idea is that the user (we'll call them type-A) has a monkey messenger that will deliver any message or task to a recipient. Type-A fills out a template, including the recipients e-mail address, a description of the task at hand, and a due date. The monkey will then deliver the message, multiple times, and will also alert Type-A when the deadline is hit or missed. Type-A can organize their monkeys in terms of "Monkeys sent" and "Monkeys on your back" if someone has had the gall to send a monkey to jump on your back. Basically, this is just a fun and lighthearted way to get others people to do stuff that needs to get done without sending emails from a personal account.

This is a new idea and good way for organized Type A people to deal with Type Bs. It adds humor to nagging which is always a good idea in personal relationships and business alike.
