    Moderator.Appspot.com - Google Moderator

The number of questions that have to be dealt with at a meeting can easily be overwhelming, simply because there are so many issues that call for consideration. As a result, it may be difficult to make the best out of the allocated time. Enter Google Moderator, a tool that makes for easy determining which questions should be put forth and which issues should be dealt with at a meeting or conference.

The mastermind behind this tool is Mr. Taliver Heath. As he puts it himself, he aimed to create a tool that made for more efficient discussions that are also carried out in a more transparent fashion.

The key figure when using this tool goes by the name of “Moderator”. The moderator is the one who processes the questions submitted by individuals; these are voted by other users, and this way the most important questions are set apart form those that have no relevance, or which seem to be important on first looks but turn out to actually interest no one.

The Google Moderator can be reached at Moderator.appspot.com. You can join the existing series, or start a series of your own upon signing in. Signing in is also mandatory for voting on already existing series.

    In their own words

“I designed a tool in my 20% time that would allow anyone attending a tech talk to submit a question, and then give other participants a way to vote on whether or not that question should be asked.”

Why it might be a killer

It is a nifty little tool that will help save time and maximize the results of any meeting or conference.

    Some questions

Will the project continue to be developed beyond the existing point? What features are going to be added? I have an idea that I would like to submit, how can I do that?
