Conversely, you can also log into your Facebook account and send pictures from your photo albums or profile pictures folder to your phone. Pix2fone’s technology is simple; the application sends a WAP link to your or your friends’ mobile devices to download the photo(s). The application currently operates with mobile devices originating in over 30 countries.

It’s not clear what phones and wireless providers will support this application. Do your friends need to have Pix2fone installed as well to receive photos? Or does the WAP link work universally? It would be great if users could also have access to photos shared on Facebook by their friends, if privacy controls permit.

Users have access to any photo in which they have been tagged. To download your friend's photos they need to have the app installed, and all you need to do iis click the applications menu on their profile.
