MapsKrieg.com - Maps Plus Craigslist Apartment Ads

MapsKrieg is a mashup of Craigslist´s apartment listings and Google Maps. You can type in the city you´re looking for and check out the various apartments available based on their location. Each thumbnail that labels a listing gives you more information on the apartments either in that area if you´re clicking from a more zoomed out version, or on a specific housing spot. You can also show a listings table for all of the ads in the area you´re searching. Check out housing spots from the basic map view, the satellite view, or a hybrid of the two combined where you can see streets and features on the satellite map.

It´s helpful for people wanting to find apartments in one specific spot of a city, so that they don´t have to search through all of the classifieds for the entire area of that city. It´s easy to use, and having the listings available to see in list form also helps give options to the user as to how they want to visualize all of their information.

Will they add pictures to listings, since that is generally a key aspect to checking out classifieds on craigslist? How will they publicize their site? Will they grow it to be international, since craigslist is available in cities around the world now?
