You choose where u begin and which direction to go in, and the site creates a line around the Earth based on that trajectory. You can zoom in to see the various cities you would go through, and if you click on a spot, a menu will show the various spots located in that area based on the websites for that area. If you want to share your journey with others, you can export the URL. If you have Google Earth downloaded, you can view the whole experience on the 3D level that it provides and can export that view to others with the software. Start over at any time and see what you might discover on your new path.
