Map.TallEye.com - Walk Straight Around the World

    map

Ever wondered what you'd see if you could walk in one straight line all the way around the world? Tall Eye allows you to check out what you would run into starting from any point on the globe. You choose where u begin and which direction to go in, and the site creates a line around the Earth based on that trajectory. You can zoom in to see the various cities you would go through, and if you click on a spot, a menu will show the various spots located in that area based on the websites for that area. If you want to share your journey with others, you can export the URL. If you have Google Earth downloaded, you can view the whole experience on the 3D level that it provides and can export that view to others with the software. Start over at any time and see what you might discover on your new path.

    In their own words

"Tired to walk on the same places everyday? Everytime you go walk, you don't know where to go? So... Walk in a straight line!

It's very easy and you will never get lost, because you always will arrive in the start point after walk around the whole world."

Why it might be a killer

It's a fun tool for people interested in geography and travel. For people who keep track of how much they walk each day, this would be a fun tool to use to see what you might see if the walking was done in one path over time. It's easy to use and a lot of results come up for each place you click on.

    Some questions

Could a feature be put in that allows you to enter specific distances to see what you might pass if you enter in your walk distances per day? Could the English be fixed on the page to make directions and explanations clearer? Will other features be added?
