Lazyfeed.com - Keep Your Favorite Topics In Track

There are countless aggregators and feed readers out there, and they all have the same purpose: letting you stay posted on any development that might be worth your while, either personally or professionally. Lazyfeed intends to play out that very role, only that the execution is a bit different.

You see, this new solution will allow you to choose a topic and be notified about any development that might appertain to you. That is, it works the other way around – traditional channels mean you would have to sign up for the blog or news feed and have the content delivered to you. Lazyfeed lets you hunt the content actively, and as of the public beta launch the results come from 100,000 blogs (the number is expected to go up to no less than 1,000,000).

Whenever you execute a search, a main window will show you the headlines and excerpts where the terms that you have keyed in are featured, and the topic can be followed at will. In other words: you are presented with a list highlighting your interests, instead of a blog roll that is (by definition) something more encompassing.

The system works quite fine for a change, and it will be nice to see how it evolves. Once a bigger database has been assembled it can but go from strength to strength.

    Lazyfeed.com In their own words

“Have trouble keeping up with stuff you are interested in? View them in one place with Lazyfeed, where keeping up with your favorite topics is as easy as checking your instant messenger.”

Why Lazyfeed.com might be a killer

It is nice to have alternatives for looking up relevant content on the WWW.
