If you use e-mail constantly, you probably find yourself e-mailing reminders about events or important days. Check out l8r's free service which allows you to specify a time and day for an e-mail so it can be sent later.

There are plenty of uses for l8r's web tool: you can send reminders, birthday greetings, letters of congratulations or encouragement for upcoming events, and more. You can send messages to yourself, or to others. It's a great way to take care of something ahead of time, especially if you are going to be extremely busy or traveling and you don't want to risk forgetting something important.

This is a program that has many uses, and as you use it more you will find more ways to take advantage of its service. I like the example given by the site of sending an e-mail to your boss so that it arrives at 8 am: great way to hide the fact that you showed up late for work!

These days, Google calendar is on the ball with events and reminders. Who needs a service that sends out e-mail reminders for events?
