The kakophone is a music composition device. First you select ten numbers to create a serial number for your kakophone. Each serial number creates a different melody based on your selected numbers. The next step is to adjust your numerical sequence based on the kind of music and quality you want to come out. Themes include “sea sex and chachacha,” which creates a bossa nova-like tune that sounds like you’re on a beach in Brazil, or others like “roll da mops style,” which is a tougher, hip hop sound. Next you select a “magic code”, which is basically selecting four different numbers that make your song sound different with each different entry. You can then adjust the density, tempo, and pitch, differentiating between a fast, high pitched, thin tune, versus potentially a thicker, slower, lower pitched tune, depending on your preferences. Then you just click the button to create your ringtone. They give your creation a title and you can check it out. Go make and make adjustments, or if you’re a fan of your composition, you can download the ringtone straight to your mobile phone. The Kakophone is fun to play with and the sound is great. It’s fun to adjust the various factos, like the “magic code” or the pitch and density to see what the different outcome is. It gives you far greater control over your ringtone selection, which will appeal to people, since they will enjoy the fact that they helped in designing their specific tone.

Though the site worked for me earlier, now when I create a tone, instead of allowing me to play it back, the screen quickly automatically switches to the start page and I can’t actually check out my composition or download it. When will this be fixed?
