In their own words
"Our original goal was to build what we called the "Project Box" which was a drop in set of tools for managing multi-user software projects. We knew the tools already existed in the Open Source world, but the accessibility of the tools was limited by the difficulty of getting them installed. So we set out to solve that problem and along the way ended up building a general platform for delivering server based software in a dramatically easier fashion. Based on that platform, we've released a number of JumpBox bundled applications including the JumpBox for Trac software project management which fulfilled our original goal."
Why it might be a killer
It turns a 2-day task of setting up an app like Trac integrated with Subversion into a one-minute process. And it runs on any OS.
Some questions
Can they make my server application run as a JumpBox much faster? If no one is paying, where's the business here?
