In their own words
“Jaanix was founded by a small team of entrepreneurs / engineers with a vision of a more useful and personalized web.
The jaanix web site combines an easy-to-use publishing tool with a personalized post aggregator (radar).
The publishing tool lets you save anything you like to your blog. Such a post can be anything - a link, an image, a video, a full rich posting or something you found on the Internet. Others will see it on the radar and will be able to rank it or save it to their blog too.
The radar is powered by a recommendation algorithm that takes into account your personal context - your interests, your friends and your past rankings, both implicit (extracted from your history) and explicit. While only registered users can submit posts and comments, anyone can use the radar to see and tune their own aggregation of posts.”
