    ipolipo

iPolipo is a web-based calendar app aimed at busy professionals. It synchs with Outlook allowing you to share your calendar with your contacts via email. Using iPolipo will save you time, which of course, saves you those dear dollars. By automating your scheduling process—eliminating phone calls and emails—you’ve more time to dedicate to more productive activities. iPolipo is available at $99 for basic services and $149 for premium service. A 30 day trial version is also offered. Users need MS XP or Vista and MS Outlook to use Polipo.

    In their own words

“iPolipo is a web-based service that enables selective and secure sharing of your MS Outlook Calendar to streamline the often-onerous process of scheduling meetings. Your contacts can map their calendars with yours and request a meeting in the appropriate Available time slot, saving time and reducing costs. As a professional, you may spend more than 100 hours a year - 25 minutes a day! - just scheduling meetings. Swapping e-mails and voice mails with clients and colleagues gobbles up valuable, often billable time. iPolipo helps you schedule meetings automatically by selectively and securely sharing your calendar with the people you need to meet.”

Why it might be a killer

iPolipo gives you extra hands so to speak. By taking over scheduling tasks, iPolipo frees up your day allowing you to incorporate more productive tasks, such as focusing on developing client relationships, into your daily schedule. With increased productivity, you’ll be able to increase your profits.

    Some questions

iPolipo has competition. It’s entering a crowded field. Will it be able to compete? Will they make changes to make the interface more flexible and user-friendly?
