There is a song by Richard Thompson that goes “there’s beauty in what’s brief, there’s beauty in what’s small”. Funny enough, that would stand as an apt explanation to the ever-increasing number of URL shorteners that I have reviewed ever since I started writing for KS.

It is a bit hard to review the ones that keep on coming along, and the only ones that I actually feature nowadays are those that either bring some functionalities in (obviously), and the ones that stand out for being goofy. The one I am reviewing right now falls into the latter category.



Broadly speaking, this new tool comes up with short URLs employing lolcat language. If you have developed an allergy to jargon, this site will be perfect: you will find no technicalities here. You simply provide your desired URL and the system will do the honors.

Other than that, there is little else to add. When a market is as crowded as this one, picking a tool often boils down to personal tastes. This application does its bit correctly, and the provided bookmarklet will let you take it with you on the web if you happen to grow fond of it.
