Many use Flickr as a storehouse for their own personal photo collections. It’s their way to share and treasure their experiences. It’s become almost indispensable for many and as such has spawned many an app aiming to improve on its shortcomings and faults. Flickr Finder, zeroing in on the photo service’s massive popularity, has created a Mac only desktop photo navigator. At the moment, it’s more of a prototype, a proof—we’re bound to see more versions come out. In the meantime, FlickrFinder allows you to access your Flickr photos without a web browser. You’ll find that the app simulates to a tee a Mac finder window. You can look at photos based on tags, by contacts or in groups among others. Also, this nifty app is absolutely free.
