    GoMobo.com - Faster Fast Food

The New York based Gomobo makes fast food even faster using your mobile phone, the world wide web, and yes, even Twitter is thrown into the mix. Next time you've got the munchies at work instead of formulating a strategic plan for running to your local McD's and back to your little cubicle within your allotted 15 minute break, order in advance and prepay using GoMobo (simply send a text or use log on to the mobile site, jot down your order, and pay with a credit card, it's easy) .

The service has recently connected up with Twitter so that whenever you make an order a post will be sent automatically to your Twitter feed with the restaurant name, pickup time and an invite to your Twitter pals to meet with you on your chow run. Of course, you could switch this off should you not feel the need to broadcast your daily cravings and poor food choices to all of your good and unaware friends. GoMobo is currently available in New York and a smattering of other cities in the US.

    Gomobo.com In their own words

"GoMobo lets customers order and pay ahead online or with a text message and Skip the Lineâ„¢ at busy quick service restaurants. GoMobo is the equivalent of EZ Pass for the quick service restaurant industry, optimizing throughput capacity for restaurants and increasing speed of service for customers."

Why Gomobo.com might be a killer

This is definitely one of those tools that people will really grow to like. Food and the web after all, make for a lovely combo. Busy workers can save loads of time by preordering and paying, skipping all those long lines. The Twitter bit will surely please the geek crowd and lonely, hungry people as well as friends who are looking for freebie side orders.

    Some questions about Gomobo.com

Will ordering from the net or from your cellphone really speed things up? Will it be that much of a difference from ordering take out or delivery? Is there going to be enough demand for this type of service? Do Twitter users really want their friends to know what they're putting in their mouths?
