Fotosizer.com - Easy Batch Photo Resizing

Nothing is worse than waiting an hour for your Facebook photos to upload, right? Right. A solution to this annoyance is proposed by Fotosizer, a free batch resizing application for your digital camera photos. Using Fotosizer is simple, once you download and install the application, you can selected the images you wish to resize individually with the drag-and-drop tool, or you can have Fotosizer scan folders and subfolders for photos, which it will automatically resize for you. You can have Fotosizer resize by dimension or shrink percentage, and you can also change the image resolution to further reduce file size. You can also opt to rotate or flip your photos if need be, or convert your photos into black and white. When you're done, you can specify where you want Fotosizer to store your photos, and proceed to upload or email the images with much less hassle than normal.

  In their own words

"Fotosizer is a freeware batch image resizer tool. It resizes your photos in just 3 easy steps - 1. Photo selection, 2. select resize settings, then 3. Start the resize!"

Why it might be a killer

Fotosizer is a perfect tool for anyone who needs to either email large quantities of photos, or upload them to a photo-sharing site like Flickr. It could also be useful for sites that necessitate lots of thumbnails, like Ebay, or for online vendors that maintain their own sales sites.

  Some questions

Why must you download Fotosizer? Is there a way to have it be a browser-based application? Why doesn't it support Mac platforms yet?
