FollowCost.com - To Follow Or Not To Follow

    followcost

Do you ever wonder if following someone on Twitter will be worth it? Don’t you wish there were a way of knowing beforehand how often does the person post updates, instead of simply start following him or her to come across a deluge of tweets in half an hour, or an update once upon a blue moon?

If that ever occurs to you, you will be glad to try this concise web-based service. As its name implies, through FollowCost you will be able to figure out how annoying it will be to follow a given twitterer. This is done by calculating the rate of updates, and presenting you with a daily average measured in millisclobes along with the frequency of the last 100 updates.

All you have to do in order to use this service is provide the username of the twitterer you are considering following. There is no need to download anything, and no fees have to be paid.

What's more, a FollowCost bookmarklet is provided. You can get it for free by clicking on the link which is provided at the bottom of the page.

    In their own words

'Is that Twitter celebrity worth the pain?'

Why it might be a killer

It will make life easier for Twitter users everywhere.

    Some questions
