Flick.IM - IM Platform with Integrated Apps

Flick.IM is a brand new multiservice chat platform from the creators of the same named free iPhone app. This latest Flick.IM integrates with most of the main IM clients: Google Talk, AIM, MSN, ICQ, and Jabber. Unlike the others in this field, e.g. Meebo and eBuddy, Flick integrates web apps into IM, meaning you never have to leave your chat. You'll be able to integrate, for example, a Yelp widget can be added to help users find restaurants and reviews and send them to friends. Apps can be added and removed by users as they please. Currently there are six widgets and two integrated services which allow for video and photo embedding in chat messages.
Developers will be able to add their own apps soon.

At first glimpse, it'd be easy to think of Flick as just another multi-service chat app, but it's actually got a lot more to offer. The Facebook like ability to add apps as you like, and the integrated photo/video features are pretty appealing.
