FeedsAPI is a new tool that you can use to have RSS feeds generated from any website. This application will come in handy when you come across sites that only have partial feeds, and also when all that you want is to generate one page feed with all main content found on any site that interests you, but whose layout is unpractical (IE, tons of ads, banners that get in the way…).
Using FeedsAPI is as simple as furnishing the URL of the site you need the content to be extracted from, and then setting down how you want such a process to be carried out. You have to specify the number of feeds you want the application to retrieve, and whether you want links to be preserved. You can also choose the extraction pattern that you want the application to employ, and what you wish it to do in case the extraction of items fails (you can them removed from the feed altogether).
That is all done very simply – a clean web interface will let you do everything just by choosing the options that apply from a series of drop down menus. And it is also possible to get a bookmarklet, and have pages turned into feeds from wherever you are.
