    FeedMarklet.com - Feed Aggregator + Bookmarklet

    feedmarklet

FeedMarklet’s a handy tool which creates instant RSS feeds. This bookmarklet feed aggregator mashup requires no registration. To get started, first create a feed title. After that you’ll be given a link to which you can add feeds using the bookmarklet. One bookmarklet allows you to add the page you are viewing to your feed; the other lets you selectively add every link on the page you are viewing to the feed. FeedMarklet automatically detects and extracts the location and title of the page you’re reading, so you don’t have to enter in extra info; you also select text before you click the bookmarklet to be used as the description, making the process even faster.

    In their own words

“Feedmarklet gives you your own RSS feed instantly, with no sign up required. Adding content to your feed is a snap- just browse the web as you normally would, and when you find something interesting, press the bookmarklet button in your browser bookmark bar to immediately add the page you are on to your feed.”

Why it might be a killer

Feedmarklet is certainly useful, and rather cool to boot. It makes creating feeds quick and simple. The facility of use makes it approachable even to the RSS ignorant users.

    Some questions

Because there’s no sign up or log-in anyone can add to your feeds—will there be some sort of fix for this? Will users want something more flexible, with more options a la xFruits?
