Exitahead is a useful tool for last.fm users who wish to purchase albums on eBay.

Instead of having to pick through eBay by entering in artist names and/or song titles one by one, Exitahead automatically finds music currently up for auction or sale on eBay that matches the artists in their last.fm profiles. Using Exitahead doesn’t require giving the site your eBay password or account info; simply tell them your last.fm user name, they check for the artists you’ve recently scrobbled, and then the service scans eBay for matching names. Exitahead is an easy way for you to find and purchase music on eBay. The app is unique in that most similar services cater to iTunes users, but logically once in a while someone might want to purchase an album below retail price and would want to hunt for music on an auction site such as eBay.

Do Exitahead, last.fm, and/or eBay have a partnership that allows some or all of the sites to receive a cut of transaction profits? If not, why does Exitahead limit itself to only eBay searches? There are many other sites out there that let you purchase music at a reduced fare. It would be great if Exitahead could browse lots of such sites and bring you the best (and cheapest) results.
