DimeTracker.com - Stick To Your Budget

    dimetracker

Are you constantly asking yourself where your money went at the end of the month? Are you having a hard time sticking to your financial budget? It might be time you visited DimeTracker.com. At DimeTracker.com all you need is a mobile phone and computer access to start managing your money. It can be difficult to remember to record everything you buy. Sometimes you lose a receipt or just forget. Dime Tracker helps you manage your money by allowing you to send text messages of what you spend. So you decide to splurge and buy yourself some new sneakers, that´s $100, send a text that records that purchase, even take a photo of the sneakers if you want, and save this as a record in Excel. There you go, you don´t have to remember to write it down later, it is done right then and there. It is easy to create an account, choose username and password, select your mobile carrier and you are ready to go. Keep track of your expenses with DimeTracker.com.

    In their own words

"How many receipts do you have stuffed in your wallet right now? Right. Now, how many of those have you actually copied down into an Excel file? Tracking your spending is important, but doing it by hand is inconvenient. Why not just text your expenses from your cell phone as you spend? Dime Tracker lets you save detailed reports to Excel, check up on your spending totals via your cell, and create budgets you can stick to."

Why it might be a killer

If you have Facebook, like many of us do, you can use the Dime Tracker application on Facebook. Using this application on Facebook will just be another way of reminding yourself of where your money is going. As of now, during its beta phase, Dime Tracker is completely free, so you have nothing to lose. An application that helps us organize our finances can only be a positive thing.

    Some questions

If people already have a problem keeping track of their spending the manual way, writing it down, will they really remember to keep track with texting? A great feature would be if Dime Tracking could send you warnings or alerts when you are close to going over your daily budget.
