Designer.FlyPublishing is a CSS/HTML design editing tool.

It's meant to make editing easier for non-techies, those without inordinate programming skills. It works through Facebook, so you'll have to sign up there in order to use the app itself. You also have to take time to learn the app's commands; while it may seem complicated at first, the makers of Designer.flypublishing claim that the effort is well worth it. It works in your browser rather than merely giving you a preview. Commands look something like this: '/sh = select header'. This is a root level parent, one of six which you can use to edit things like color, border and width. D.FP is free for all.

It's a fun tool that simplifies coding. Those who aren't skilled technologically, public institutions, schools, students even, anyone who wants a website could use this site; they needn't pay anything as they normally would and it seems to work well.

Is the time that it takes to learn this app compatible with people's attention spans? Will the fact that it's not easily understood doom this editor? Wouldn't it be just as easy to take the time to learn html rather than learning these new commands?
