Delexa.org - Del.icio.us and Alexa Rolled into One

Delexa combines the ranking element of Alexa and the tagging element of del.icio.us and combines them into one unique ranking system. Only U.S. websites are considered, so that the ranking is not brought down from other countries. You can search by tag to find the top sites for that category, or you can search by website and see what tags come up and what the site´s ranking is. Their next plan is to make multi-tag searching available.

The sites that it combines are hugely popular, and this makes for a more accurate representation of site rankings. It´s also cool to be able to see which sites are the most popular based on topics. For a site that´s only been open for a month and a half, they have an unusually large amount of site traffic. Users will also like that they don´t have to log in to access the information they need.

Will people go here to check on site rankings when Alexa is already known and covers far more than just U.S. or top 50,000 sites? Many sites wont be available for information because they´re not in that top bracket. Both del.icio.us and Alexa are more aesthetically pleasing on the eyes, and will that make a difference on the site users choose to access?
