At countdown2zero.com, you can create a free countdown clock for whatever it is you’re waiting for – be it a birthday, New Year’s Eve, a new movie or album release, etc. The site says it will take you less than three minutes to create your personalized countdown clock, and a creation assistant is provided to help you do so. You must enter basic contact information like your name and email address, what and when you are counting down to, and you can choose two colors for your clock. Once created, your countdown clock has a unique URL that you can bookmark or share with friends. You and your visitors can leave comments on your countdown page, using it as a place to discuss whatever you’re counting down to, or a way to meet others waiting for the same thing as you. The service is completely free, and there’s no limit on how many clocks you can create.
