    ConferenceBay.com - Conference Fun

    conferencebay

If you had to choose between attending a conference or a Bar Mitzvah, which would you choose? Tough choice, no? The Bar Mitzvah, at least, has entertainment and food. The conference, on the other hand, has name tags and boring lectures. Truth is, conferences can be borning, uninformative, and time wasters. Conference Bay wants to take the hassle out of conferences. It’s a new startup that aims to make the conference process less painful. So whether you’re speaking at, attending, or organizing, with Conference Bay wants to make the experience palatable. Essentially, Conference Bay offers a series of online services to organizers, delegates and speakers. Among them is an online bidding tool for tickets. You can name your price and Conference Bay will contact the conference organizers to see if they accept your price. Conference Bay also provides a list of conferences all over the world. You can find them organized by topic and location. You can even book tickets directly through Conference Bay. You choose where you want to go, what conferences you’re interested in and Conference Bay will do the rest.

    In their own words

“Conference Bay aims to make organising, visiting and speaking at conferences a more pleasant experience. So what do we actually do?”

Why it might be a killer

Conference Bay may revolutionize the way conferences are booked and organized. Conference organisers will be able to sell off their last remaining seats and more cost conscious delegates may be able to get access to events at a better price.

    Some questions

Does Conference Bay have a recipe for success? Can they attract enough conference goers to cover startup costs etc?
