How do you motivate your kids to do the chores? For that matter, how do you motivate your SO, or your roommate, or your office buddies to start picking up after themselves? As a dungeon master you set the adventure, picking a title, setting the max amount of XPs or points that can be won, writing a description, adding stats which define the nature of the adventure, e.g. strength level for physical chores, or wisdom level for the amount of smarts a task requires, adding monsters and treasures, and finally by indicating the adventure status.
