Cataplt.com - Take Charge of Your Address Book

    cataplt

Cataplt is a marketing solution app service that lets you take charge of your email address book to help get the word out about your product or service. Unlike sending out mass emails directly via your email client, Cataplt lets you send emails to up to 5,000 recipients (although, at a flat fee of $10). To use Cataplt, you’ll need to sign up for an account and pay up. From there, you can upload your contacts from your email client, compose your message, and then send it out to your list. After two days, Cataplt will send you a report of how effective your email was, detailing the number of emails opened, and how many times the link provided to your advertisement, product, or service was clicked.

    In their own words

“You have hundreds and even thousands of email addresses. There is a ton of value and opportunity locked away in your contact list. If your list is going unused, it can mean lost business.
Cataplt™ is the first web-based middle market email solution on Earth. We designed it because emailing larger lists from Microsoft© Outlook© can be painful, but larger enterprise solutions are complicated and expensive. We know you wanted the best of both worlds.
With Cataplt, you can email up to 5,000 recipients. Simply upload your list, cut and paste your text or html message, then send. It's that simple! About 48 hours later we'll send you a report of how many emails reached your audience, how many emails were opened, and how many links were clicked. (real metrics that show your email campaign success)”

Why it might be a killer

Cataplt makes it easy to send out mass emails for your campaign at a relatively minimal cost, and the metrics help you to understand why or why not your marketing tactics are effective.

    Some questions

Do most people who would use this service have that many email addresses stored in their address books? Wouldn’t it often make more sense just to send out a regular email on your email client?
