According to Browzmi surfing the web by yourself can be a lonely prospect, so they’ve launched a social browsing network (web browser + social network combined). Basically, what you get is a web browser in a browser with a built-in chat client. As you browse you can chat with your pals about videos, Facebook photos, Last.fm tunes and much more. The Browzmi widget displays the real time online location of your pals so you can follow them from site to site and discover new and interesting things together. Besides that, you can tag, comment and rate whatever you come across. Set your privacy settings to let only your friends and family see your profile and updates or let the whole world see what you’re up to—it’s your choice. Browzmi is compatible with IE, Firefox, and Safari.

Browzmi is a nifty app which has a certain appeal for younger users. It lets them browse with pals and it basically replaces sites like Digg and del.icio.us. Set up is easy and Browzmi integrates with popular sites like Facebook and Youtube.

I imagine older, more discerning web users won’t find anything special about Browzmi. For one, the chat window can’t be moved, there are no tabs, and there’s nothing really novel to the service. You could just be using Gtalk or MSN for that matter. Will they add bookmark export/import capabilities?
