Broong is one of those startups that seems like a sound idea, but you're not exactly sure what it adds. That's not to say it doesn't look pretty-- the design is simple and appealing, but the concept is a little underwhelming.

Essentially, it's a site that lets you create and share your own notes. It's sort of like passing notes in high school gone Web 2.0. And, of course, like any new startup these days, you can share more than just words, you can share also sorts of multimedia, from photos, to videos and music. The notes are actually Post-it Note size, and they're conveniently available at a moment's glance. Search is easy too. Just enter a keyword or type of media file you want, and Broong will look for you. It's also available across all platforms including mobiles and PDA's.
