    Bluemars.org/clipx - ClipBoard History Manager

    bluemars

Clipx is a downloadable piece of software that allows you to save your clipboard history and then recall it when you need to use it again. If you do a lot of cutting and pasting then you will know that not being able to recall previous cuts can be a frustrating, time-consuming mess. Clipx makes this problem a thing of the past, just download the application and customize the hot keys for easy-to-use recall of all your activity. Clipx is completely free although you can make a donation to the developer through PayPal if you’d like to contribute to the constant improvements being made. You can also customize Clipx to only remember certain types of cuts you’ve made, for example, set it to ignore file lists, bitmaps or text clipboard entries.

    In their own words

“ClipX is a tiny clipboard history manager. It is sweet, it is free, use it.”

Why it might be a killer

Internet researchers, students, and anyone else who surfs from site to site while compiling information will love being able to store that activity and easily pull up pieces of information in whatever order they choose.

    Some questions

The site is not very user-friendly and does not provide enough information or instruction which might dissuade people from trying it out. While they claim it to be a simple to use piece of software, it took this author more than 5-minutes to figure it out, so if they are planning on becoming mainstream, an FAQ section would be helpful.
