BlaBlalist.com is another online list making site. Just like its mentor Ta-Da List, Bla-bla has cool features that allow lists to be viewed and changed from anywhere and appear as little notes on the desktop. The developers say that, 'the interface has been designed to take up little screen space, so you can keep your list window open just like post-it notes.' The reasons for using Bla-bla instead of post-it notes are that on Bla-bla the lists can be shared publicly, viewed and updated from any computer, published as RSS feeds and emailed a copy format to the creator or other interested parties. The RSS feeds are cool because they allow for better collaboration and communication whether the lists involve business information, scheduling and even grocery shopping. Bla-bla requires users to register on the site, but don't worry, it's free and there's no installation required.

"The initial purpose of Bla-bla List was to demonstrate that it doesn't require much code to write an application like this with RIFE, our favourite web framework. The next logical step was to release it as an open-source application under a dual CDDL/LGPL license so that any developer could freely look at it, get inspiration for his own application and maybe even contribute to Bla-bla List."

The interface is a cool idea that makes desktop post-its looks as useless as the actual paper item. RSS feeds seem a little indulgent, but when it comes to important lists, updates will come in very handy and will help spread information in an organized fashion.

Can others (people invited to view a list) modify and change lists without permission from the original list maker? Can the lists be sent to a mobile phone?
